Jonathon Blum (USA 24) - Team Canada defeated Team USA 4-1 on Friday, January 4, 2008, during the World Junior Championship at CEZ Arena in Pardubice, Czech Republic.  The result put Team Canada into the gold medal game and Team USA into the bronze medal game. Blum plays for the Vancouver Giants and was drafted 23rd overall by the Nashville Predators in 2007 making him the first born and raised Californian drafted in the first round.
