The Boston College Eagles defeated the Harvard University Crimson 3-1 in the first round of the 2007 Beanpot Tournament on Monday, February 5, 2007, at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The first Beanpot Tournament was played in December 1952 with the scheduling moved to the first two Mondays of February in its sixth year. The tournament is played between Boston College, Boston University, Harvard University and Northeastern University with the first round matchups alternating each year.
